Located in Agia Sofia, one of Patras’ most vibrant and distinctive neighborhoods, this apartment of a total 150 sq.m. redefines the meaning of urban living. Here, modern architecture meets daily city life, creating a calm and welcoming living environment.
The spatial layout relies on clean circulation axes and fluid visual and functional connections between spaces. Particular emphasis was placed on detailing and transitions: custom wooden paneling, built-in furniture, organic curves that soften the geometry, and lighting elements that serve as architectural focal points. The primary challenge was managing the visual noise of the existing structural shell, alongside seamlessly integrating its internal recesses and protrusions.
Materiality, natural elements, and a balanced sense of scale compose an interior that shuns mere visual spectacle in favor of a subtle, meaningful quality of living. A warm yet contemporary space where the structural backdrop steps back, allowing everyday life and its moments to take center stage.
