Jazi cafe Patras is located just outside the city center, and it is a station point for many visitors every day.
The basic idea of the design was the extensive use of a single solid material. Everything is either made of or covered by cement mortar. All the individual spaces, as well as the auxiliary furniture/objects, are created with a cement mortar coating in an effort to exclusively highlight a premium coffee branding.
The bar, the counter, the refrigerators, etc., are all volumes that seem to arise as bumps from the floor itself.
The desire to keep the space as minimal as possible led to the use of plants for the completion of the composition of the project. This idea finds references in Mediterranean gardens.
Overall, it is a completely monolithic building, made up of concrete volumes which are complemented with gold and black touches of elements such as lighting etc.
